Home was donated for the San Diego Center for Children benefit in conjunction with the Sargent Art Group.
Traditions has been selected for an award at the Bonita Museum juried fine art exhibit opening March 7, 2009 through May 2, 2009. The juror for this event was John Marciari – Curator, Italian and Spanish Paintings at the San Diego Museum of Art.
I am planning an event with Keep A Child Alive, a non-profit organization in NYC whose mission is to help the children of Africa by providing medicines and clinics, etc. to help stop the AIDS pandemic...we will be having an auction to benefit the organization...stay tuned for details!

Julie exhibited four paintings from the Africa Series as part of an Africa fundraiser at Gallery 504 in San Diego for the August 11 Ray at night.
Julie's piece, Africa Series (Village) was seen in the District117 Gallery's PRIDE 2007 exhibit at the San Diego/Hillcrest gallery.
"Passage" and "Separate Lives" were recently on exhibit at the Bonita Museum & Cultural Center.
Julie's painting "Africa Series (Village)" was recently on exhibit in the Masters of the Moment exhibition at the East County Performing Art Center.
Julie's piece, "Centered" was in the Art of Hope Exhibit at the Art Institute of California, San Diego Art Gallery. The show featured works relating to the theme of cancer and breast cancer specifically.
Julie's work can be seen at Front Porch Gallery in Carlsbad.
