Julie creates Contemporary Abstract Paintings using oil & wax and acrylic paint.  The artist's inspirations are endless, from emotions and life experiences, to music and the ocean, anything that might recall a thought of somewhere visited or a vision of a place not yet seen.  An award winning artist, Julie's paintings are exhibited nationally.

Nest I Cage (left) as part of A Book About Death is now in the permanent collection of the MOMA (Museum of Modern Art) in NYC and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art Library.  The exhibition has also travelled to many countries and the idea is being produced around the world.
