Original encaustic painting, 8"x8". Many layers of encaustic (molten beeswax and pigment) are fused together using a torch. In these inspirational pieces, the word is transferred using carbon paper and then carved and filled with oil paint. More layers of encaustic and more carving...then the braille dots are added using a special stylus tool (so that you can "feel" the inspiration!) Signed on the back by the artist. Each painting is framed and ready to hang in a black floater frame, 10"x10". Price includes shipping within U.S. $35 for international orders.
